Yoga –

An Exploration into Who We Are,

What Supports Us and How We Blossom To the Full


This weekend is an invitation to reflect – within the parameters of yoga – on who we are, how we can nourish and strengthen ourselves, and gradually release that which drains our resources. Thoughtful choices and appropriate practice over time will give rise to clarity and lightness in our lives, and allow each moment to be a fresh start.
In yoga, practice and study are like the two wings that allow a bird to take flight with steadiness and confidence. In this spirit we will be spending a little bit of time looking at the Panca Maya model of the Upanisads and on yoga’s ideas on building resilient health. The rest of our time will be divided between cleansing and replenishing yoga and pranayama practices, chanting and enjoying each other’s company. There will also be ample time to do and be as you wish, go for walks in the surrounding tranquil countryside or snuggle up by the open fire. The evenings and Saturday afternoon will hold some special treats of pampering with holistic Weleda products and treatments.

This is an outline of what will be on offer at the weekend – everyone is free to choose to participate in as much or as little as feels good to them.

Friday:       Who We Are


4pm           Arrivals
6pm:          Meeting each other and settling in with a short practice
7pm:          Dinner
8pm-9pm: First Explorations and Chanting; followed by a Weleda treat!

Saturday: What Supports Us


7.30am-8.30am: Morning Practice
9am:                Breakfast
10am-11.30am: Study and Practice
11.30am:  Tea Break
12pm-12.30pm: Pranayama Practice and Chanting
1pm: Lunch and Free Time to do as you wish
3.30: Tea
4pm: Weleda treat!
5.15pm- 6.45pm: Study and Practice
7pm: Dinner
8.15pm: Chanting and Meditation followed by a Weleda treat!

Sunday:  How We Blossom


7.30am-8.30am: Morning Practice

10am-11.30am: Study and Practice
11.30am:  Tea Break
12pm-12.30pm: Pranayama Practice and Chanting
